Salted Honey MannaBrew

Salted Honey MannaBrew

Ingredients

1 scoop MannaBrew (about 8 g)

1 cup (8 oz) hot water

1–2 tsp raw honey (wildflower or clover works well)

A small pinch of sea salt (key for caramel flavor)

⅓–½ cup milk or non-dairy milk (whole, oat, or almond)

Optional: ¼ tsp pure vanilla extract

Optional garnish: extra flaky salt or a light honey drizzle

Instructions

  1. Brew the MannaBrew
French press or small pot: heat 1 cup water to a gentle simmer (about 185–205°F). Add 1 scoop MannaBrew, stir, and steep 4–8 minutes. Plunge or strain.
Moka pot: fill the basket halfway (do not tamp). Brew on medium heat and take it off as it begins to gurgle.
Espresso machine: fill the portafilter halfway, tamp lightly, and extract as usual. Not for bean-to-cup machines.
  2. Melt the honey
While the brew is still hot, stir in 1–2 tsp raw honey until fully dissolved. Heat is what turns the honey silky and brings out the caramel.
  3. Add the salt
Stir in a small pinch of sea salt. Taste. You should notice more caramel, not salt. If it tastes salty, you used too much.
  4. Add milk
Warm the milk. Froth if you like. Stir in vanilla if using. Pour over the salted-honey MannaBrew.
  5. Serve
Drink as a latte, or keep it short and strong like a cortado. Optional: a single flake of salt on the foam.
